Indie Imagination Award

Book Nook by Indiana C

‘The ‘book nook’ diarama was created as part of a project unit. It depicts a lounge room with different features and elements, that are all handmade in some way.’

CEO Award

Howling at the Moon by Sasha Q

‘Prismacolour pencil on mixed media paper, A3 Sasha draws inspiration from animals and nature. Her work is a vibrant expression of how she perceives the world around her.’

Art Activity Award: Belong, Connect, Succeed

Muunthi Jiggirrdd by Kathleen H

‘My Indigenous artwork was deeply inspired by the sacred art style, dot painting and the cultural animal black buddihiwi (emu). Black emus represent the vast areas of our land and heritage. They are also known to symbolise strength, survival and resilience. Black emus can offer strength, survival and resilience into the next year and for those who are graduating. Having my artwork on the 2025 yearbook cover would mean a lot to me because I can express my Aboriginal heritage by doing something I love, which is dot painting.’

Third Place

The Dragon by Paige E

‘I love drawing with pencil and I love dragons.’

Second Place

Flying Fish, Christmas Alien, Earth’s Core by Chloe B

‘Flying Fish – Flying Fish is about a small and seemingly insignificant person taking on a seemingly huge and impossible task and winning. He then goes on to show his success to others, inspiring everyone as he shows the seemingly impossible task, concurred and tamed. Christmas Alien – Christmas Alien is my own version of concept art often used in companies such as Disney and Pixar studios. Concept art is used to inspire all the workers on the next major project they are about to take on. Concept art is the building blocks to many great art pieces and Christmas Alien is my attempt to replicate its style. Earth’s Core – Earth’s Core is about the Earth’s marine life and how the water itself keeps the Earth alive, hence being the core, the life bringer. Water brings life to many colorful, bright, and unthinkable creatures that could inspire any artist to create beautiful and creative displays.’

First Place

Billie Eilish by Mia M
