What Is The Indie Art Show?

Established in 2020, The Indie Art Show is an annual student exhibition.

Student art shows provide a space for learners to express their ideas through artwork. The Indie Art Show gives us insights into the unique perspectives of our artists, young and old. Art shows connect communities and provide accessible opportunities for learning. We love hosting this exhibition every year and are excited to see what our learners create in 2025.

Theme

Each year, students create artworks for a specific theme. This year’s theme is Belong. Throughout 2025, students from around Australia will contribute artworks to the exhibition. See the FAQs for details.

Belong

verb

/bɪˈlɒŋ/

the feeling of security and support when there is a sense of acceptance, inclusion and identity for a member of a certain group or place.
