One evening last year, my Mum, my 4 brothers and I got takeout for dinner and drove to Lion’s Lookout in Lesmurdie to watch the sunset together. It’s a favourite memory we share. I remember feeling like I belonged. It was a lot of fun – and surprisingly there were no fights and we really enjoyed it! My Mum took a photo of us lined up in order of age, looking at the sunset. It’s my favourite photo, so I decided to recreate it as a painting.
