I was inspired to create this artwork by a variety of things, like old photos and books that I have read. One book that inspired me the most was “My Life as a Cat”. I really loved the premise of this book which has been a big inspiration for a lot of my other projects. This book shows that even if you’re not blood related to your family it doesn’t mean you don’t belong. This artwork to me represents a sense of finally feeling like you belong somewhere or to someone.
